Strip-out to sign-off
- Stripping out the old kitchen and taking it away
- First-fix plumbing and electrics, through the qualified trades we work with
- Plastering and making good where the old units came off
- Tiling, including splashbacks and any floor tiling in the quote
- Checking floors and walls, and levelling before anything is fixed
- Assembling, setting and levelling the carcasses
- Worktops cut, scribed and jointed, and appliance housings built
- Hanging and aligning doors, drawer fronts, plinths and cornice
- Decorating the room once the kitchen is in
- A walk-round with you before the job is signed off

One team from strip-out to the last trim
The room is not handed between firms halfway through. The same people who take the old kitchen out are the ones who hang the last door, which is why nothing falls down the gap between two trades.
Levelled before anything is fixed
Old kitchens hide bowed walls and floors that fall away towards a wall. We check and level first, because a carcass set on an unlevel floor is what puts a door out of line six months later.
Worktops cut, scribed and jointed on site
Walls are rarely straight. Scribing a worktop to the wall it actually meets, and putting a joint where nobody stands, is the difference between a fitted kitchen and one that looks fitted from across the room.
Certified work done by certified people
Gas and electrical work is carried out by qualified, registered tradespeople we work with. We book them in around the fit rather than leaving you to find them, and the quote says what is ours and what is theirs.
Surprises priced before we carry on
Behind an old kitchen there is sometimes a pipe in the wrong place or a wall that will not take a fixing. When that turns up we stop, tell you what it involves and what it costs, and carry on once you have agreed. It does not appear on the invoice unannounced.
A walk-round before it is called finished
We go round the room with you at the end, open every door and drawer, and write down anything you are not happy with before the job is signed off rather than after.

We come out, measure the room, go through the plan from your supplier, and put the price in writing.
Confirm a date
You pick a start date that works with the delivery of your kitchen. We hold it.
Strip out and fit
Old kitchen out, walls and floor made good, trades booked in around the fit, then carcasses, worktops, doors and decorating.
Walk round and sign off
We go round the finished kitchen with you, open every door, and agree anything still outstanding before the job is signed off.

About the work
Do you supply the kitchen, or only fit it?
We fit. The kitchen comes from your own supplier, and we install it, which keeps our price to one thing and the responsibility for the fit in one place. If you have not chosen a kitchen yet, we work alongside trusted, reputable kitchen designers and suppliers and are happy to put you in touch with them.
Can you fit a kitchen I bought somewhere else?
Yes. It does not matter where the kitchen came from, as long as it arrives complete. Send us the plan and the unit list when you enquire and we will quote from those.
How long does a kitchen take?

Do you do the plumbing and electrics?
Yes, as part of a renovation we arrange them. Gas and electrical work is carried out by qualified, registered tradespeople we work with.
