Privacy notice

1. Who we are
BHD Interiors Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. We are a kitchen fitting company registered in England and Wales, company number 14817178. Our registered office address is set out in the statutory notice at the foot of every page on this site.
The easiest way to reach us about anything in this notice is the enquiry form on our contact page.
2. What we collect, and why
This website has one form on it: the quote request form. When you send it, we receive:
- Your name — so we know who we are replying to.
- Your phone number — so we can arrange a time to come and measure.
- Your email address — so we can send the written quote.
- Your town — so we know whether the job is in an area we cover.
- Anything you type in the message box — the details of the kitchen you want fitting.
We use all of it for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and to prepare and send you a quote. We do not use it for marketing, we do not build a profile from it, and we do not sell it to anybody.
The website does not ask you to create an account, and there is no payment taken on it.
3. Our lawful basis
Under the UK GDPR we rely on two lawful bases for handling enquiry information:
- Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — you have asked us for a quote, and answering that request is the reason we hold the information.
- Our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — running a business means being able to answer the people who contact it, and to keep a record of what was quoted and to whom.
We do not ask for or hold any special category data, and you should not send us any through the form.
4. Who else handles your information
Two service providers process enquiry information on our behalf. Neither of them is permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- FormVault — the software that receives the form, stores the enquiry and emails it to us. It is operated by Beloved Websites on our behalf, on servers in the UK and the EU.
- Cloudflare — the content delivery and security network that sits in front of this website. It handles the traffic between your browser and the site, and filters malicious requests. Cloudflare operates a global network; where information is handled outside the UK it is covered by the safeguards in Cloudflare's data processing terms.
Beyond those two, we share enquiry information with nobody, unless we are required to by law.
5. Cookies and analytics
This site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent, so there is no cookie banner to click through.
Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell human visitors apart from automated traffic. It is used for security, it holds no information about you, and it cannot be used to identify you across other websites.
6. How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to respond to you and to deal with any quote that follows, and in any event for no more than 24 months from your last contact with us. After that it is deleted.
If the job goes ahead, the paperwork becomes a business record and is kept for as long as tax and company law require us to keep it.
7. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- have anything inaccurate corrected;
- ask us to delete it;
- ask us to restrict what we do with it;
- object to us handling it on the basis of our legitimate interests;
- ask for it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, send us a message through the contact form and say what you want. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
9. Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. This version was published on 3 September 2026.
